Recount the natural history of the marsh, from the Wisconsin Glaciaton of 15,000 years ago to present day. Analyze, compare, and contrast the fresher water upriver with the saltier water where it meets the open Atlantic Ocean. Watch the playful harbor seals fishing at the mouth of the river or basking on the rocks at low tide.
