Hours of operation:       11 A.M. to 8 P.M. seven days a week (Memorial Day - Labor Day)

Tours depart from our dock at the west end of the Newburyport Boardwalk (next to the Black Cow Restaurant).  The Yankee Clipper departs roughly hourly during the summer for a narrated, 45-50 minute tour of historic Newburyport Harbor , the Merrimack River , and the Great Salt Marsh, our local 25,000 acre ecological treasure!

Your voyage will take you through 12,000 years of natural history, from the birth of the Great Marsh at the end of the last ice age through the European colonization and economic boom of the area during America ’s Industrial Revolution, and into the 21^st century.  You’ll meet the resident wildlife of the area, including harbor seals, hawks, great blue herons, egrets, diving cormorants, and maybe even deer and bald eagles!  Your captain and crew will weave together the natural, economic and maritime history with the ecological significance of one of New England ’s most beautiful and scenic coastal jewels!

It’s a relaxing, fun, and informative voyage for people of all ages (there are even kids’ activities on board for junior crew members!).  Escape the summer heat with a beer, a glass of wine, or a soft drink and snack while you take in the summer breeze!
